
In 2006, Lynn Schusterman established the Schusterman Foundation – Israel, which is responsible for her institutional grantmaking in Israel and Europe. As one of Israel’s leading foundations in the field of working with the victims of child abuse, SFI recently created the Haruv Institute.
Its mission is to strengthen the fabric of Israeli society by providing funding, technical assistance, and leadership for new and existing initiatives.
Schusterman Foundation – Israel works in the following program areas:
- Child abuse, particularly regarding treatment, training, and prevention programs
- Jewish peoplehood and renewal
- Arts and culture
- Early childhood development, particularly the adoption of best practices
- Moreover, the SFI assists organizations in the Former Soviet Union, helping to promote pluralistic Jewish values, deepen Jewish identity, and encourage community-building efforts.
