Tzimtzum

The first Tzimtzum gathering was held by the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation in 2004 for Executive Directors of CLSFF grantee organizations. The challenges that leaders of organizations face are intense. Not only do they have the fiscal and managerial responsibility for their organization and their employees, but they must also guide their Board of Directors, and make sure that programs are delivered with excellence and sensitivity to their constituency. And in all this, they must know what is going on in the rest of the Jewish community.

Tzimtzum allows these executives to take the time away from their busy lives. For 48 hours, they network with each other, hear from leading thinkers in the organizational field, participate in skills sessions, engage in case studies, and get the down time they need to vision for the future, alone and with each other.
