Israel is home to approximately 40,000 non-profit organizations. In a variety of capacities, the Schusterman Foundation – Israel works with a broad range of organizations ranging from those working in the field of treatment of child abuse to Jewish identity. Hazon is an annual gathering of Israeli non-profit leaders associated with the SFI.
In a series of facilitated and informal gatherings, the participants at Hazon receive the opportunity to share best of brand approaches to managing their organizational lives and cultures. Among the questions they explore are the following:
- How can the relationship between non-profits and the Israeli government be improved?
- What type of organizational culture allows for organizational sustainability?
- What level of engagement is necessary to maintain a solid funding base in Israel and abroad?
Hazon is a by-invitation-only gathering.
